Job summary

Mitie’s Tersus Consultancy in York is seeking a Fire Administrator to join our team. You will schedule site appointments, liaise with site managers, residents and internal teams, and ensure client reports are delivered accurately and on time.

The role requires strong IT skills (Excel, Outlook, Word), excellent organisational and communication abilities, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to customer service. 37.5 hours per week, salary £26,299.33.

Responsibilities

• Schedule site appointments with site managers, client contacts or residents via phone, email, portals and other client-specific processes.
• Proactively review upcoming programmes and coordinate site visits to meet agreed timelines.
• Liaise with surveyors, laboratories and internal teams to ensure works are completed within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate data and records using spreadsheets, online portals and in-house systems.
• Monitor client KPIs, manage programmes and promptly respond to or escalate client queries as required.
