Job summary

Tersus, part of Mitie, is hiring a Fire Risk Assessor to help make buildings safer. You will conduct risk assessments, door inspections and compartmentation surveys, producing reports for clients and guiding them toward compliance.

The role requires a fire engineering or fire safety background (desirable), registration with IFSM/IFE, and proven experience. You will liaise with clients and stay current with fire safety legislation, working from our office or on client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• A degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety (desirable).
• Registered with IFSM, IFE or similar competency scheme (minimum intermediate level).
• Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments, fire door surveys and compartmentation surveys.

• Engage with clients and stakeholders, explaining findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence.

• Support the business by working flexibly and responsively from the company's office or from client's sites as required.

Required Qualifications:
