Job summary

Pyrotec Fire Protection in Ringmer, East Sussex, is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify, develop and secure profitable new business across fire-protection services. You will manage your own pipeline from prospecting through proposal, negotiation and order placement to handover to Operations. Regular travel across the South East is expected.

The role offers a salary up to £50,000 plus commission, a company vehicle and pension, and is full-time and permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience generating and winning B2B business through proactive prospecting.
• Experience preparing proposals and negotiating terms.
• Ability to build and forecast a multi-stage sales pipeline.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of fire-protection or security systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target organisations aligned with Pyrotec’s capabilities.
• Build a consistent pipeline through outbound calls and campaigns.
• Arrange meetings, site visits and presentations with decision-makers.
• Identify multi-service and long-term contract opportunities.
• Maintain opportunity records and forecasts in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Coordinate surveys, pricing with internal colleagues.
• Prepare and present professional proposals.
• Negotiate to protect margin and revenue.
• Support tender and framework submissions.
• Structured handover to Operations after securing business.
