Job summary

Protec Fire Solutions ANZ in Leeds, UK, is seeking a technically skilled Sales Engineer to design and specify Fire Alarm, EVC and Evacuation Systems in line with BS standards, carrying out site surveys and producing detailed quotations.

You will review project specs, generate tender submissions and bid documentation, provide expert advice to clients, consultants and contractors, and help secure projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant technical field.
• Understanding of BS 5839, BS 5266, BS 8629 and LPS 1014.
• Experience in fire alarm, life safety or security systems.
• Experience in technical sales and business development.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify Fire Alarm, EVC and Evacuation Systems to BS standards.
• Carry out site surveys, condition reports and system assessments.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations.
• Produce tender responses and project-specific proposal documentation.
• Prepare schematics and bid documentation.
• Review project specifications for regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical advice to clients, consultants, contractors and end users.
