Job summary

Protec Fire & Security Group Ltd in England is seeking an experienced field service engineer to service, maintain, and commission fire detection and emergency lighting systems, ensuring all work complies with relevant British Standards.

The role includes 40 hours per week with overtime and on-call, full product training, a route-based field schedule, and opportunities for career progression while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience/competence.
• Experience in electrical/electronic sector.
• Familiarity with safe working practices and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular servicing and reactive maintenance of fire alarm and related systems.
• With relevant training, commission fire alarm systems for clients.
• Maintain accurate and high standards of paperwork for customers, company and personal records.
• Undertake on-call duties as part of the Area Team.
• Work under instruction from Customer Services Team, adhering to policies and safety procedures.
• Communicate diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of circuits and measuring devices, and undertake necessary training.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
