Job summary

Tyler Mason Consultants is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer for on-site work in the Bristol/Gloucester area. You will join the PPM team, delivering fire and security maintenance and reactive support to public sector and private sites.

The role requires experience with fire and security systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet service schedules while coordinating with managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience of fire systems: Gent, Advanced Electronics, Apollo.
• Experience of security systems: Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work to deadlines and provide a professional service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm PPM visits.
• Attend reactive callouts for fire, intruder and security systems.
• Communicate with line managers and stakeholders to maintain schedules.

PPM Engineer - Fire and security Engineer

Location: (M4) Bristol, Gloucester (surrounding region)

Package: £40000, vehicle and company benefits & (OTE £5K-£7k)

About. My client are a well‑known Fire and Security company who design and install a comprehensive range of security systems for both commercial and industrial applications.

Services, Fire Alarms, Access control, CCTV systems, door entry systems, intruder alarms, perimeter security systems, security risk management, remote monitoring, testing and maintenance, and fire detection services.

About the Role

As a Fire & Security Engineer working as part of the PPM team, you will support the successful delivery of fire and security maintenance and reactive maintenance. You will be responsible for achieving your service schedules to the levels expected by the company and communicating with line managers and other stakeholders.

Sites maintained would be predominantly public sector buildings, such as schools, colleges, libraries, etc. However, the area of operation would also cover private education and healthcare sites

Key Responsibilities: Fire And Security Engineer

• An all-round and competent engineer with good knowledge of both Fire and security systems.
• Primarily undertaking Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm PPM visits.
• Providing, when required, attendance to undertake reactive call outs for both fire, intruder and security systems.
