Job summary

Osborne Appointments is recruiting an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a close-knit team delivering high-quality service across commercial and high-profile sites. The role offers independence, collaboration, and opportunities for training and progression, with occasional UK and international travel.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in fire and/or security, strong fault-finding skills, and a solid understanding of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in the fire and/or security industry.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience across fire and security systems.
• Good understanding of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems (analogue & IP), and access control systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across fire and security systems.
• Work independently on customer sites and occasionally as part of a team.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Accurately complete service reports and documentation using mobile devices.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 10, after initial onboarding period).

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, fire and security specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on:

• CCTV systems (analogue & IP)
• Access control systems

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence
