Overview

We have an opportunity for a Fire Alarm Technician to join Honeywell in Hounslow. The role involves the servicing and repair of bespoke fire alarm equipment and associated fire life safety systems at a fixed site.

Shift Pattern

Fixed site role working night shifts from 8.00pm to 4.00am, Sunday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance of fire alarm systems
  • Respond to fault calls promptly to keep systems fully operational
  • Recommend upgrade opportunities for obsolete or end‑of‑life equipment
  • Collaborate with engineering colleagues on joint projects
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota to provide urgent support

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fire alarm maintenance and within the fire industry
  • Computer literacy with an understanding of networking
  • Working knowledge of BS5389 requirements
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of VESDA aspirating systems and PAVA systems is advantageous
