Location of Works: London & South East

The Company: Nationwide Fire and Security company with over 20+ years industry experience, providing solutions to commercial, private, public, residential, and retail markets. Due to expansion, they are seeking additional Fire Alarm Service Engineers.

Package for Fire Alarm Service Engineer:

  • Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
  • Travel time paid after 30 mins each way
  • Overtime rate - time and a half, double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays
  • Call out rota 1 in 6 days, standby rates of £182/week
  • Flat rate paid for the first 4 hours of call out; after that, time and a half
  • Company van provided

Main Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems (3+ years experience)
  • PPM and technical support of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Working to BS5839 Standards
  • Managing your own schedule to ensure job completion

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3+ years servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems
  • Experience with servicing, PPM, and technical support
  • Working to BS5839 Standards
  • FIA or equivalent training preferred
  • Installation and commissioning experience is a plus but not essential
  • Qualifications such as 18th Edition, NVQ, CITY and Guilds, or BTEC are desirable but not essential
  • Experience across sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Private, and Public
