  • Do you currently have the chance to travel outside of the UK? The opportunity to travel across the UK and Europe, offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to work on major, high‑profile sites.
  • Feel like you’re not progressing? Continuous professional development, with structured training opportunities to expand your knowledge and qualifications in leading fire suppression systems.
  • Being micromanaged? Why not work for an organisation that values independence, problem‑solving, and clear communication — with real opportunities to progress your career.
The Role:

As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you’ll step into a role that goes far beyond standard installation work. You’ll be working directly with high‑profile, white‑collar clients in the Critical Infrastructure and Data Centre sector, becoming the technical expert they rely on.

This isn’t a typical engineering position — you’ll act as the vital link between the organisation and the end client, giving you the chance to develop both your technical capability and your customer‑facing skills.

Being exposed to complex suppression systems and direct client interaction, this role sets you up perfectly for progression into senior positions such as Lead Engineer or Client Contract Manager. Every day brings something new, from commissioning and servicing to remedial works across advanced Fire Alarm and Suppression systems, ensuring your work stays varied, challenging, and rewarding.

Your responsibilities:
  • Installation of Fire Alarm and Suppression Systems
  • Maintenance of Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems
  • Commissioning of Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems
Your experience:
  • Solid understanding of BS5839-1, BS7273, BS6266, BS EN 15004
  • A background working on Suppression Systems and Fire Alarms is essential
  • Ideally hold CSCS/ECS Card
  • Beneficial to have experience in commissioning the likes of Co2, FM200, and IG-541 Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems
