Job summary

The role is primarily office-based coordination with a willingness to undertake minor on-site remedial works; strong organisational and communication skills are essential to work with multiple subcontractors and deliver year-end completions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Finishing Manager or similar in housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades, snagging and plot handovers.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to coordinate multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Compile and manage snagging lists across plots approaching completion.

We are currently recruiting for a Finishing Manager to join a busy housebuilding site and support the team in achieving year-end completions.

The role will primarily involve coordinating finishing trades, compiling snagging lists and ensuring plots are completed to the required standard and handed over on schedule. Although the position will be predominantly off the tools, the successful candidate must be willing to get hands‑on and undertake minor remedial works where required to keep completions on track.
