Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is recruiting a Finishing Manager to join a busy housebuilding site and support the team in achieving year-end completions. The role focuses on coordinating finishing trades, compiling snagging lists and ensuring plots are handed over to the required standard on schedule.

Although predominantly off the tools, you will be willing to undertake minor remedial works and contribute hands-on where necessary to keep completions on track.

Qualifications

• Previous Finishing Manager or similar experience in housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades, snagging and plot handovers.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with ability to coordinate multiple trades.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with keen eye for detail.
• Willingness to undertake minor works when required.

Responsibilities

• Compile and manage snagging lists across plots nearing completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades to complete outstanding works.
• Monitor plot quality to ensure required standards.
• Assist site team to meet year-end completion targets and handover deadlines.
• Undertake minor remedial works as needed.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and organised working environment.
