Job summary

RG Set Square is recruiting a Finishing Manager to lead finishing works across refurbishment and new build elements on a Leeds-based project.

You will coordinate subcontractors, trades and direct labour, perform quality inspections and ensure works meet client standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Finishing Manager on construction build projects.
• Experience on refurbishment and new build schemes is highly desirable.
• Excellent eye for detail and passion for delivering quality workmanship.
• Competent using handheld devices, tablets and snagging/reporting software.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
• Thorough understanding of construction Health & Safety requirements.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid qualification are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing works across refurbishment and new build elements of the project.

• Produce, manage and close out snagging lists using handheld devices and reporting software.
• Take photographic records of defects, progress and completed works.

• Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks where required.
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager and Client team to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Drive quality control and promote a 'right first time' approach throughout the project.

RG Set Square are currently recruiting for an experienced Finishing Manager to join a construction project comprising both refurbishment and new build works.
