Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Chepstow is recruiting a Finishing Manager to coordinate finishing trades, compile snagging lists and ensure plots are handed over on schedule on a busy housebuilding site.

The role is primarily office-based coordination with a willingness to undertake minor on-site remedial works; strong organisational and communication skills are essential to work with multiple subcontractors and deliver year-end completions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Finishing Manager or similar in housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades, snagging and plot handovers.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to coordinate multiple trades.
• Proactive hands-on approach and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Compile and manage snagging lists across plots approaching completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades to finish outstanding works promptly.
• Monitor the quality of finished plots to meet required standards.
• Assist the site team in achieving year-end completion targets and handover deadlines.
• Carry out minor remedial works to support progress.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and organised working environment.
