Job summary

ITS (Cheltenham) Ltd is recruiting a Finishing Foreman / Assistant Site Manager for a residential site in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The role is freelance with a day rate of £250 and an ASAP start, aimed at driving finishing works to high standards across multiple plots.

You will support the Site Manager, oversee trades, maintain quality and safety, and coordinate snagging and handover processes on a busy development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman, Assistant Site Manager or similar.
• Strong residential housebuilding experience.
• Understanding of finishing, snagging and handover processes.
• Experience working on new build housing developments.
• CSCS card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS.
• First Aid.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a busy site team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management of the residential housing site
• Oversee finishing trades and subcontractors across multiple plots
• Drive plots through to completion and handover
• Monitor quality, workmanship and build standards
• Coordinate snagging and ensure issues are addressed efficiently
• Carry out plot inspections and ensure homes are ready for CMLs and handover
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider site team
• Maintain health and safety standards across the development
• Support the Site Manager with general site management duties

Finishing Foreman / Assistant Site Manager

Day Rate: £250 per day

We are currently recruiting for a Finishing Foreman / Assistant Site Manager to join a busy residential housing development in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager with a strong background in residential housebuilding. The successful candidate will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development, with a particular focus on finishing works, quality and ensuring plots are completed to a high standard.
