Job summary

We Recruit Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a residential construction team in the UK. You will manage finishing works, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure high-quality handovers to customers.

The role requires a strong background in residential housebuilding, attention to detail, and a focus on safety and programme delivery. Competitive salary, permanent role, and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman within residential housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of internal and external finishing trades.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and meet tight deadlines.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage all finishing works across a busy residential housing development.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Carry out quality inspections and snagging, ensuring defects are rectified promptly.
• Prepare plots for NHBC inspections and customer handovers.
• Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure build programmes are achieved.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards on site.
• Ensure all plots are completed in line with company quality standards and programme requirements.
• Liaise with Customer Care and Sales teams where required to ensure smooth completions.
