Job summary

We Recruit Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a residential construction team in Waterbeach. You will oversee finishing works on new-build housing developments, ensuring quality and timely handovers to customers.

Reporting to the Site Manager you will coordinate subcontractors, carry out snagging and NHBC prep, uphold health and safety standards, and drive build programmes to completion. A strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman within residential housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of internal and external finishing trades.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and meet tight deadlines.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage all finishing works across a busy residential housing development.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Carry out quality inspections and snagging, ensuring defects are rectified promptly.
• Prepare plots for NHBC inspections and customer handovers.
• Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure build programmes are achieved.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards on site.
• Ensure all plots are completed in line with company quality standards and programme requirements.
• Liaise with Customer Care and Sales teams where required to ensure smooth completions.
