Job summary

Soho House in the United Kingdom is seeking a waiter to deliver refined, attentive service to members and guests. You will work closely with floor and kitchen teams to ensure a smooth dining experience and uphold the club’s standards of discretion and excellence.

You’ll greet diners, take orders, make recommendations, and assist with payments using card, the Soho House App, or House Pay. Training, progression, and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and stay calm under pressure.
• Friendly, hospitable and respectful towards guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and guests, introduce menus and engage upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, noting allergies or dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely, correct delivery of orders.
• Provide knowledgeable menu recommendations and wine pairings as needed.
• Maintain pristine tables and service throughout the guest experience.
• Handle requests with discretion and professionalism, including VIPs.
• Assist with payments via card, Soho House App, or House Pay.
