Job summary

Soho House & Co. invites applications for a Waiter role to deliver refined, attentive service to our members and guests. You will work closely with floor and kitchen teams to ensure a smooth dining experience, reflecting the Club’s standards of professionalism and discretion.

Your main duty is to create enjoyable experiences from greeting and seating to taking orders, recommending dishes and guiding guests through payments, while maintaining a pristine service environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and guests, present menus, and engage on seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, noting allergies or preferences.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, correct service.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and pairings.
• Maintain pristine service by topping up water, wine, and other beverages.
• Ensure tables are set and reset, maintain cleanliness throughout service.
• Handle member requests with flexibility to create personalised experiences.
• Process payments via card, Soho House App, or House Pay.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially with VIPs.
• Attend briefings, tastings, and team events to support colleagues.
