Job summary

TPF Recruitment are proud to represent a rapidly growing firm of Accountants based in Southampton, currently looking to hire an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager to lead their Financial Outsourcing team.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts to UK GAAP, lead a small team, ensure deadlines, and develop efficiencies with Xero, Dext and CCH. Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home. Salary £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with 3+ years PQE.
• Proven experience leading a team of 3+ people; ability to conduct 1:1s and set goals.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, VAT, and statutory accounts under FRS 105/102.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial outsourcing for a portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and year-end deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Lead and develop a team; manage performance and provide training.
