Job summary

Austin Rose Associates is recruiting an Outsourcing Assistant Manager in London to drive financial excellence for a dynamic portfolio of entrepreneurial clients. This role blends technical accounting with cloud technology within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will oversee client portfolios, review team output, and coordinate with offshore resources. Hybrid working and ongoing professional development support accompany a 37.5-hour week and core hours.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience with strong technical grounding.
• Proven experience managing a client portfolio.
• Deep technical knowledge in cloud accounting, management accounts, VAT, and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Review client VAT returns and complex issues.
• Prepare tailored management reports for clients.
• Manage communication with HMRC for clients.
• Oversee a client portfolio as the primary contact.
• Review work from team members and offshore teams while preventing scope creep.

Candidate Requirements:

• Part-qualified or qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience with strong technical grounding

• Deep technical knowledge in cloud accounting, management accounts, VAT, and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Xero, Dext, and Syft; and experience working with offshore and remote teams
