Unknown is seeking an Outsourcing Manager/Senior Manager to support growth and drive outsourced finance solutions for SMEs and owner-managed businesses. The role involves strategic advisory, budgeting, governance and client relationship leadership.

Candidates should have qualified accounting credentials (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and at least two years at director level, with proven experience in delivering outsourced finance solutions within an accountancy practice or relevant industry

My client is excited to announce that they are looking for a Outsourcing Manager/Senior Manager. They are a fast growing accountancy firm with multiple offices looking after thousands of businesses and individuals across Sussex and Surrey.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic financial adviser to SMEs and owner-managed businesses, supporting growth and long-term planning.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting, turning data into actionable insights.
• Oversee financial reporting, governance, compliance and internal controls.
• Attend board-level meetings, challenge assumptions and advise on key business decisions.
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate with tax, audit, payroll and advisory teams.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending improvements to performance and efficiency.
• Coach client finance teams, mentor trainees and support staff development.
• Contribute to business growth and deliver high-quality outsourced finance solutions.

About You

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified.
• At least two years' experience at Director level.
• Proven experience delivering outsourced finance solutions within an accountancy practice, or relevant Finance Director Experience in industry.
• Strong experience supporting UK SMEs, including growing or transforming businesses.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to influence financial strategy and advise senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Experienced in leading teams, developing talent and managing client relationships.
• Able to identify risks, solve complex problems and provide clear, commercially focused advice.
