TPF Recruitment represents a prestigious independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Southampton, seeking an Outsourcing Assistant Manager. The role focuses on delivering high-quality outsourcing and accounting services to a diverse client portfolio, while overseeing a team and supporting senior management.

You will manage delivery of bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, and management accounts, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and regulatory standards. A hybrid working arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• 3-5 years in a similar outsourcing/accounting role within practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102; experience with Xero/QuickBooks/Sage.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting professionals.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts and reports for clients.
• Manage outsourced accounting functions including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify improvements to internal processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with latest accounting standards and best practices.
