Qualifications

• Proven relevant underwriting experience in an underwriting role and demonstrable technical skills.
• Track record in building and developing broker relationships.
• Background in Professional Indemnity and Directors and Officers classes of business desirable.
• Proven ability to win business whilst maintaining underwriting field.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a good level of underwriting, demonstrating knowledge of company guidelines.
• Underwrite complex new business within defined authority and achieve financial targets.
• Manage new business service to brokers to maintain good relationships.
• Develop new broker relationships in conjunction with Broker Development Director.
• Provide performance updates to Head of Financial Lines.
