Job Description

Reporting directly to the company's Finance Director, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the smooth operations of the finance department and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily accounting operations
• Monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Regulatory compliance
• Taxation
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations
• Coordinate the Audit process
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team
• Conduct regular 1-2-1s
• Prepare budgets and forecasts
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and risks
• Manage cash flow, debt, and debt collection
• Support the Finance Director in presenting reports to senior leadership and the board

The Successful Applicant

• ACA Qualification (approx 3-4 PQE min)
• Experience in a medium-sized business
• Ability to think critically and draw conclusions from data analysis
• Ability to work flexibly between detailed and higher-level tasks
• Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively at all levels
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• High proficiency in Excel and complex accounting systems
