Job summary

Keeler Recruitment are partnering with a long-established Norwich business to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a senior finance role, responsible for accurate reporting, strong financial control and shaping more efficient processes across a busy Group environment.

You will review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT and corporation tax, and support budgeting, cash flow and treasury activities while guiding junior team members.

Qualifications

• Must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience.
• Strong background in management accounts, reconciliations and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial systems and data.
• Experience in a multi-site or Group environment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review reporting packs; support statutory accounts, audit activity, VAT and corporation tax.
• Strengthen financial controls across the Group.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and treasury activity.
• Guide and support junior finance colleagues.

Job description

Keeler Recruitment are working with a long-established business in Norwich to recruit a Financial Controller. This role suits a qualified finance professional who enjoys variety, accurate reporting and strong financial control, and who wants to help shape more efficient processes across a busy Group environment.

You will review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packs, support statutory accounts, audit activity, VAT and corporation tax, and strengthen financial controls across the Group. You will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and treasury activity, providing clear financial insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement. The role includes guiding and supporting colleagues within the finance team.

We are looking for someone ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong post-qualification experience. You will have a solid background in management accounts, financial accounts, reconciliations and reporting, along with advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and data. Attention to detail, commercial awareness and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential.

Experience working in a multi-site or Group environment would be helpful, as would experience mentoring or supporting junior team members. This is an office-based role in Norwich offering real breadth, senior exposure and the chance to contribute to stronger controls, better processes and high-quality financial insight.
