A Financial and Legal Services Firm in Derby is seeking a Financial Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Manage daily client account transactions including receipts, payments, and transfers.
  • Oversee client account reconciliations (daily/weekly/monthly) and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for client and office accounts.
  • Prepare reports for senior management.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.

As the Financial Compliance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules, overseeing the day-to-day operation of client accounts, and safeguarding client money within the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Manage daily client account transactions including receipts, payments, and transfers.
  • Oversee client account reconciliations (daily/weekly/monthly) and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for client and office accounts.
