Job summary

Jobtailor in London is seeking a qualified ACA/ACCA/CA accountant to support IFRS reporting, statutory accounts, and group audits. You will liaise with country advisors, prepare supporting documentation, and assist with VAT and investor reporting within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across the group are essential. Top 20 practice background is a plus, as is collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent)
• Industry experience or Top 20 practice background
• Excellent technical knowledge of IFRS
• Extensive experience preparing or auditing financial statements under IFRS
• Strong attention to detail and high standards
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to solve problems logically and set out workpapers clearly and concisely
• Collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships with senior partners
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with group consolidated statutory financial statements under IFRS, including disclosure notes
• Assist with year-end audits, liaising with audit engagement teams and preparing supporting documentation
• Assist with statutory accounts under local GAAP, including trial balances and statutory adjustments
• Liaise with country advisors and ensure filing deadlines are met
• Assist with group tax returns
• Assist with compliance and reporting, including VAT returns and investor reporting
• Support month-end processes and complete balance sheet reconciliations across the group
• Develop and maintain group-wide IFRS financial accounting and reporting policies
• Help roll out policy, process and system changes
• Collaborate with the wider finance team on non-business-as-usual projects
• Perform additional ad-hoc activities as required
