Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading FTSE-listed international organisation for a high-calibre Financial Reporting Accountant to join its Group Finance function. This role offers exposure to a broad range of technical accounting, statutory reporting and acquisition-related activities within a complex multinational environment.

Joining a highly regarded team, you’ll work closely with senior finance leaders across the business, gaining exposure to group reporting, acquisition accounting and stakeholder engagement on a global scale. What you’ll be doing:

• Support the preparation and delivery of half-year and year-end external reporting under IFRS.
• Assist with the production and review of annual statutory accounts across multiple entities.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical accounting papers and analysis on complex accounting matters.
• Support acquisition and business combination accounting activities for new investments and acquisitions.
• Review and analyse financial information submitted from international operations.
• Work closely with finance teams across multiple regions to ensure consistent financial reporting practices.
• Assist with group consolidations within a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business on reporting and accounting matters.
• Support external audit processes and help ensure strong financial controls are maintained.

What we’re looking for:

• Newly qualified Accountant (ACA OR ACCA or equivalent) ideally from Big 4 / or Top 10.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS.
• Previous experience auditing or advising large multinational organisations.
• Exposure to listed clients, group reporting environments or complex consolidations would be advantageous.
• Understanding of multi-currency reporting environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Outgoing, collaborative and able to build relationships across a global organisation.
• Naturally curious with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ambitious individual looking to develop a long-term career within a leading international business.
