Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a hands-on Team Leader to oversee the Giving Processing Sub-Team across HTB entities, ensuring accurate and timely donation processing and robust Gift Aid activity.

You will lead a small team, manage line supervision of counting/recording/banking of donations, and produce reports for senior management while coordinating with the Processing and Giving Manager and Financial Controllers.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or a relevant degree with substantial processing experience.
• Good operational knowledge of Gift Aid in a UK charity context.
• Previous team leadership experience.
• Numerate with a natural administrative and organisational ability.
• Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge database.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of Excel (basic formulas, sorting, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Giving Processing Sub-Team across HTB, The Revitalise Trust, and St Paul’s Theological Centre.
• Oversee accurate and timely processing of annual donations.
• Work with the Processing and Giving Manager, Financial Controllers, and colleagues across the organisation.
• Provide operational oversight of Giving team activities.
• Lead and support the Fundraising & Database Systems Specialist, Fundraising Giving Co-ordinator, and Giving & Database Co-ordinator.
• Support day-to-day giving operations as a hands-on Team Leader.
• Provide line management and supervisory oversight of counting, recording, processing, banking, and reporting donations.
• Ensure giving is processed accurately and to deadline across HTB Group entities.
• Produce comprehensive reports and in-depth donation analysis for senior management, fundraisers, and financial controllers.
• Oversee Gift Aid processing, including updating declarations, scanning and uploading information, following up with donors, and maximising Gift Aid participation.
