Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, the Finance Systems Analyst will manage and develop the company’s recently implemented consolidation, planning and reporting EPM system (CCH Tagetik). You will work closely with two FP&A Systems Managers and play a key role in enabling data-driven decisions and supporting Collinson’s growth through robust financial systems. You will provide administrative support for Tagetik, first line support for user queries, and support ongoing development of forecasting, consolidation and reporting activities in collaboration with the finance, data and systems teams.

Key Responsibilities

EPM Management

  • Work on the administration and maintenance of Tagetik, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Act as first line support for Tagetik queries, triaging and resolving or escalating as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tagetik issues, and implement improvements to prevent repeats.
  • Implement enhancements and upgrades to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with security access controls and change management procedures in line with company policies.

Integration & Data Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Tagetik with other financial systems and tools.
  • Ensure accurate and seamless data flow between Tagetik and other business applications.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Tagetik system and the Collinson Group’s implementation.
  • Develop capabilities to write advanced Tagetik reports and become a go-to for other power users in the business.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders at all levels within finance to understand and support their financial systems and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall financial system efficiency.

User Training & Support

  • Develop and deliver training programs for users to maximise their proficiency in utilizing Tagetik.
  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and assisting with problem resolution.
  • Develop and manage technical documentation.

Technical Expertise

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of Tagetik, including advanced formula writing, dimensionality, and reporting capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in FP&A and EPM systems.
Knowledge, skills & experience required
  • Previous experience of working with finance systems
  • Demonstrable ability to learn new systems
  • Finance & accounting knowledge, with experience in financial planning activities and consolidation activities desirable
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies
  • SQL experience desirable
  • Highly numerate and analytical with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills and the ability to produce complex reports
  • High-energy, adaptive, collaborative and responsive work style
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment with poise and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in large companies with complex financial systems environments is preferred
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering improvements resulting in clear business value
