Job summary

UKSBS is seeking a Finance Specialist to join the Finance Service Delivery team in Swindon, Newport, or Stockton. The role covers a range of transactions, reconciling accounts, processing journals, and delivering high-quality financial services to clients.

The role focuses on maintaining reconciliations, analysing data, supporting reporting, and ensuring governance and controls across finance processes. Security clearance may be required for some applicants.

Qualifications

• Understanding of financial processes and accounting principles (double entry, reconciliations).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in Excel or equivalent tools, including formulas and data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain financial reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and clear within agreed timelines.
• Prepare and process financial journals with accurate adjustments.
