Jacob Grey Recruitment is working with a long-established, multifaceted business to appoint a Finance Manager. Reporting to the FD and exposure to the Board, you will oversee the group’s daily financial operations and lead a small transactional team.

Your role includes preparing full management accounts with balance sheet reconciliations and P&L, conducting variance analysis with management commentary, and supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial projects.

Qualifikationen

• Fully Qualified Accountant or finalist level.
• Proven track record in similar finance roles with initiative and analytics.

Aufgaben

• Overseeing the group’s day-to-day financial operations.
• Preparing full sets of management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations and P&L.
• Variance analysis against budget with commentary for leadership.
• Streamlining month end processes where applicable.
• Managing and developing a small team of transactional staff.
• Ensuring compliance with financial controls and statutory accounting.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Contributing to business/financial projects as required.
• VAT submissions and bank reconciliations.
• Overseeing monthly payroll.
• Identifying areas for business and process improvement through analysis and financial insight.
