We are partnering with a well‑established organisation based in Braintree, Essex to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead the day‑to‑day financial management of the business. This role will play a key part in ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and effective financial planning to support informed decision‑making across the organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing month‑end and year‑end processes, managing budgets and forecasts, producing management accounts, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal financial requirements. Acting as a trusted finance lead, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing clear financial insight and guidance to support business performance and growth.
You will be a qualified or part‑qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience in a Finance Manager or similar role. A solid background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts is essential, alongside a good understanding of UK accounting standards and financial controls. You will be confident working autonomously, managing competing priorities, and communicating complex financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving will be key to succeeding in this role.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000, alongside the opportunity to join a stable and supportive organisation where your expertise will be valued.
