Job summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Customer Service Agent for an established financial services organisation in Manchester city centre. You will handle ISA and savings product inquiries by phone and email, support onboarding and provide clear product information to customers.

The role is permanent, office-based, full-time, with typical hours Monday to Friday. Prior financial services customer service experience and knowledge of ISA products are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience within financial services.
• Knowledge of ISA products, savings accounts or a similar financial product area.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A proactive and positive approach.
• A calm, patient and empathetic manner.
• A genuine interest in delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer enquiries relating to ISA and savings products by telephone and email
• Handling new account enquiries and providing clear product information
• Supporting the onboarding of new customers
• Helping to retain Trust Fund customers and discussing available reinvestment options
• Maintaining accurate and compliant customer records
• Providing clear and professional guidance on customer accounts
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve the customer experience
• Developing your product knowledge and taking on additional responsibilities as you progress
