Job summary

MoneyPlus is hiring Customer Service Agents to join our Salford team. You will listen, investigate and resolve enquiries or connect customers with the right specialist support.

This is a hands-on service role where empathy, accuracy and ownership matter. You will handle telephone, email, live chat and other digital channels, using open questions to understand customer circumstances and provide clear explanations of next steps.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in contact centre, retail, hospitality or similar service environment.
• Warm, clear and engaging communication style, confident on the phone.
• Empathy, patience and sound judgement in sensitive conversations.

Responsibilities

• Support customers by telephone, email, live chat and other digital channels.
• Ask open questions to understand circumstances and determine next steps.
• Resolve routine enquiries or escalate to the right specialist.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records and clear handovers.
• Identify vulnerability or affordability concerns and adjust approach accordingly.
• Explain next steps in plain language and confirm understanding.
• Keep service, quality and productivity measures while prioritising fair outcomes.
