Overview

The purpose of the Finance Assistant's role is to support the provision of a financial management service covering a range of accounting requirements through provision of financial analysis and information.

To enable the key responsibilities of this role to be completed good analytical skills and the ability to understand and use numerical information will be necessary. This role entails assisting with budget preparation and monitoring plus assisting with final accounts.

To enable the completion of tasks that this role entails it will be necessary to have the ability to effectively use a PC to prepare documents, record information and input data.

Good communicate skills are also key to this role including verbally, in person or over the telephone and also in writing to share and obtain information.

The ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and to work to deadlines is also essential for this role.
