Job description

Job Title: Finance Assistant

We are seeking an organized and efficient Finance Assistant to join our team in Crewe, United Kingdom. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department's daily operations and ensuring smooth financial processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Reconciling supplier invoices to our accounting system
  2. Approving invoices for payment
  3. Completing reconciliations for our suspense partners on the network
  4. Balance Sheet Accounting
  5. Supporting wider team with cover and ad hoc projects
  6. Collaborating with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency
  7. Responding to financial inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders
  8. Performing general administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel and Access
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
