Up to £30k per year (pro rata for 2.5 days/week)

What You’ll Make Happen
  1. Manage bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records such as accounts payable, bank reconciliations, fixed asset register, and VAT returns.
  2. Contribute to administering the payroll and pension schemes to ensure timely and accurate processing of staff wages and contributions.
  3. Reconcile financial accounts including bank and credit card statements to guarantee reporting accuracy.
  4. Participate in the month-end and annual close process gaining exposure to financial audits and final accounts preparation.
  5. Maintain and help improve financial controls to ensure compliance with internal processes and accounting standards.
  6. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to the Finance team to help deliver business insights for data-driven decisions.
  7. Leverage AI to optimize workflows and team efficiency.
Your Expertise
  1. Hands-on experience with cloud accounting software (e.g., FreeAgent, Xero, or similar)
  2. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
  3. Ability to check your own work and spot mistakes quickly
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  6. A friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
