Job summary

A growing business in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Finance & Supply Chain Coordinator to support finance and operations in a fast-paced environment. This role includes managing day-to-day finance activities and providing logistics support. The ideal candidate will have experience in accountancy or supply chain, excellent Excel skills, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accountancy and/or supply chain roles.
  • Ability to perform Pivot Tables and V Lookups in Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key contact between the business, suppliers, and external bookkeeping.
  • Support day-to-day finance activities including invoices and payments.
  • Provide logistics support across purchase orders and shipping.

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance & Supply Chain Coordinator to join a growing business. This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting both finance and operations within a fast-paced, scale-up environment. You will report into the Finance Director, with a dotted line into the Supply Chain Director.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as the key contact between the business, suppliers, and external bookkeeping firm
  • Supporting day-to-day finance activity, including invoices, payments, reconciliations, VAT returns and system usage
  • Providing operational and logistics support across purchase orders, shipping, customs, and supplier communication
  • Managing documentation, compliance records and supporting the implementation of future systems
  • Assisting with reporting and ad hoc projects alongside the Finance Director
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy and/or supply chain role, and comfortable working across both sectors.
  • Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to do Pivot Tables and V Lookups.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable in a changing environment, with a self-starter mindset
  • Strong attention to detail
