A leading council is seeking a Finance and Administration Officer to join their Financial Assurance & Debt Management Team. This role involves providing financial administrative support, managing customer interactions, and ensuring compliance with statutory duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer care and negotiation skills, with a focus on accuracy and organization.
Salary: Grade 4 £24,790 to £26,409 per year
Location: Church Square House, Scunthorpe
Hours: 37 hours per week

The Vacancy
An opportunity has arisen for a Finance and Administration Officer to join the Financial Assurance & Debt Management Team.
The Finance & Admin Officer works with care providers, care professionals and customers (in person or indirectly) to ensure the council meets its statutory and contractual duties for payments and income collections relating to its care and support services.

The post holder will need to be able to work in a busy team, be positive and supportive to others, be organised and manage their own work priorities, be competent in dealing with various different people and be meticulously accurate in their work.
Our customers are council colleagues and members of the public. We speak to people, families and representatives on a daily basis so customer care skills are very important.The successful candidate would receive ongoing support and training so they can provide a good standard of service to our customers.
