Job summary

Evri is seeking a Final Mile Territory Manager in Chelmsford to lead service excellence across Delivery Units. You will monitor daily performance, resolve issues in real time, and motivate couriers while building strong relationships with Evri Business Partners.

Successful candidates will have experience in a fast-paced logistics setting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple sites and stakeholders with confidence.

Salary £35000-£39000 plus car allowance.

About the Role

As a Final Mile Territory Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind service excellence across multiple Delivery Units or one high-volume Super Unit. You’ll oversee daily performance, act quickly to resolve issues using real-time digital tools, motivate and engage a network of couriers, and build strong relationships with Evri Business Partners, the local community, and key internal teams.

Responsibilities as a Final Mile Territory Manager

• Own service, cost, and performance across your Delivery Unit(s)
• Ensure consistent, compliant, on-time parcel flow and courier coverage
• Analyse digital dashboards and Service Tracker to identify and resolve risks
• Build strong relationships with EBPs, couriers, support teams, and unions
• Lead budget management with a focus on cost leadership and efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement and proactive planning across all operations

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Require the Following…

Qualifications:

• Current UK Driving Licence (preferable but not essential on standalone single Delivery Unit)

Knowledge & Experience:

• Knowledge of the self-employed courier model
• Previous experience working in a customer-focused industry within a fast-paced operational role
• Strong planning and organisational experience

Technical & People Skills:

• Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively
• Ability to empower teams with appropriate oversight and support recruitment/interview activity when required
• Strong communicator across a dispersed workforce
• IT proficient, including experience with digital dashboards
