Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Field Warranty Engineer to join our team. The role involves on-site fault diagnosis, repairs, and warranty service across pumping systems and water industry equipment.

You will visit customer sites, investigate warranty claims, and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical/electrical faults, performing repairs, commissioning, and producing detailed warranty reports.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Service Engineer or similar roles.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience on pumps, pumping stations or related equipment.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of motors, control panels and inverters.
• Competent with testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
• Able to work independently in a busy field environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to investigate and resolve warranty-related issues.
• Diagnose faults in pumping systems and related equipment.
• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and component replacements as required.
• Commission and test pumping stations, pump sets and control equipment.
• Produce detailed service and warranty reports after visits.
• Liaise with customers to provide technical advice and support.
• Work with internal teams to manage warranty claims and corrective actions.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Identify recurring faults and recommend product/process improvements.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools to a high standard.
