Job summary

AWD online is seeking an Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to own a defined sales territory across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will win new business and grow established customer relationships while delivering practical insulation and construction product solutions.

The role blends field sales with account growth and pipeline development, reporting to contribute to sales, margins and broader business growth in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous area/territory sales or account management experience.
• Experience in insulation, drylining, construction or building materials.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own designated territory sales performance.
• Develop existing customer relationships.
• Identify and win new customers while maintaining pipeline.
• Visit customers and recommend product solutions.
• Build relationships with contractors, merchants and developers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
• Monitor market conditions and competitors.
