Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to maintain installations for our customers across the UK. This 6-month contract requires 30 hours per week, with work on-site at stores and possibly overnight visits.

You will diagnose hardware issues, install and configure systems, and meet KPIs while following safety protocols. Night and weekend work may be required, with travel to client sites using a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience or similar installation/maintenance role.
• Strong technical ability to diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication to coordinate with customers and team.
• Able to manage time and meet deadlines in a field setting.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and offsite maintenance of camera hardware and configurations.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and checks.
• Respond promptly to service calls to meet SLAs.
• Record service activities, parts used and time spent accurately.
