Job summary

Focal Systems is expanding its field operations across the UK, seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to maintain and install our camera hardware at customer sites. The role involves travel, variable hours, and potential overnight work, with a focus on KPI-driven performance.

You will diagnose issues, perform installations, and ensure high-quality maintenance while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven Field Service Technician experience in field service, installation, or related work.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to diagnose hardware/software issues efficiently.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain installations and perform on-site/off-site maintenance of camera hardware.
• Diagnose issues, install, replace and configure per standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks to address issues.
• Respond promptly to service calls and meet customer SLAs.
• Maintain accurate service activity records using company tools.
• Onboard/scanner products and assist with store installations.
• Work night shifts when required and travel to client sites.
