Job summary

Focal Systems is performing field service work across the UK, seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to maintain installations for customers. The role involves on-site and off-site duties, night shifts, and zero-hours arrangements with no guaranteed hours.

You will diagnose hardware issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure timely service delivery with adherence to KPIs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a field technician role, preferably in field service or installation.
Strong technical aptitude with hardware and software troubleshooting.
Proficiency in using power tools and installation equipment.
Ability to work nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

Onsite and offsite maintenance of camera hardware; diagnose, install, replace and configure.
Conduct preventative maintenance checks and address potential issues.
Respond promptly to service calls and meet customer SLAs.
Maintain records of service activities, including parts used and time spent.
Attend installations at various client sites during night hours as needed.
Install Focal Systems product onto shelves and other equipment per plans.
Operate power tools safely and adhere to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team to ensure timely installations and quality.
