Job summary

Miele Professional is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair a range of commercial appliances across customer environments, including laundries, laboratories, hospitals and medical facilities. You will travel across the Leicester area, with some overnight stays and out-of-hours work expected.

You will diagnose faults, install and decommission equipment, and promote maintenance solutions while delivering exceptional customer service for a globally recognised premium brand.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to diagnose faults and service professional laundry and washer disinfector appliances.
• Experience delivering high standards of customer support in field service.
• Strong communication and organisational skills for autonomous workload management.
• Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with product knowledge and training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs on professional laundry and washer disinfector appliances to a high technical standard.
• Install and decommission professional appliances across commercial and medical environments following safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional service experience while representing the Miele brand professionally.
• Maintain clear communication with planners, managers and service partners to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain van stock, spare parts control and daily administration to support first-time fix rates.
• Promote Miele care products, accessories, service contracts and maintenance solutions.
• Participate in technical training to stay current with products and diagnostic processes.
