Job summary

Miele Professional is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair a range of commercial appliances across Leicester. You will travel to sites such as laundries, laboratories, hospitals and medical facilities, diagnosing faults and performing maintenance with a focus on customer service and technical excellence.

This full-time role requires flexibility for occasional overnight stays and out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills for electrical and gas appliances.
• Proven field service or technical customer service experience.
• Excellent knowledge of UK power supplies, wiring and appliance systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive learning and ongoing technical training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs on professional laundry and washer disinfector appliances to a high technical standard.
• Install and decommission professional appliances across commercial and medical environments per health, safety and gas safe regulations.
• Provide an exceptional service experience while representing the Miele brand professionally.
• Maintain clear communication with planners, managers and service partners to support efficient service delivery and resolve issues.
• Maintain van stock, spare parts control and daily administration to support first-time fix rates and efficiency.
• Promote Miele care products, accessories, service contracts and planned maintenance solutions through customer engagement.
• Participate in technical training and stay up-to-date with Miele products and diagnostic processes.
