Job summary

Miele Professional is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair a range of commercial laundry and laboratory equipment across the Leicester area. You will travel to customer locations, diagnose faults, install and decommission appliances, and maintain high service standards while representing a premium brand.

The role involves occasional travel outside the local area, out-of-hours work, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and pension offers.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Proven experience in field service or technical customer service.
• Sound knowledge of UK power supplies, wiring components and appliance systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach to learning and completing training.

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs on professional laundry and washer disinfection equipment to a high standard.
• Install and decommission professional appliances in commercial/medical environments following safety regulations.
• Deliver an exceptional service experience while representing the Miele brand.
• Coordinate with planners and partners to support efficient service delivery and resolve issues.
• Maintain van stock, spare parts control and daily administration to boost first-time fix rates.
• Promote Miele care products and maintenance solutions to customers.
• Participate in training to keep up-to-date with Miele products and procedures.
